Piper Promotes Meridian As Biz Aircraft At NBAA

Meridian Mockup To Be On Display At Indoor Static Area

Piper will be promoting its flagship single-engine M-Class Meridian business aircraft at the National Business Aviation Association's Annual Meeting and Convention, held in Las Vegas from Oct. 22-24. "The Piper Meridian is becoming more accepted as a true business turboprop throughout the world," said Piper Vice President of Sales and Marketing Drew McEwen. "While it remains a popular owner-operated aircraft because of its lower acquisition cost and economical operation, those same reasons are making it more popular with business."

"In the past few years we have noted that the number of Piper Meridians flown by Part 91 operations has doubled as corporate flight departments move up to a turboprop or covert to single-engine Piper from twin-engine turbine aircraft," McEwen said. "For a little over $2M, Piper's dealers can put companies in a brand-new cabin-class turbine-powered business aircraft with much lower operating costs."

At NBAA this year, Piper will have an M-Class Meridian mockup on exhibit at the Las Vegas Convention Center's indoor static display and a Meridian business turboprop at Henderson Executive Airport's static aircraft display.

Piper Aircraft is headquartered in Vero Beach, FL. The company offers aviators throughout the world efficient and reliable single-engine and twin-engine aircraft.
