Company Announces First Seven Stops On National Tour
If there's anyone out there who hasn't yet heard of the Eclipse
500, Eclipse Aviation is doing all it can to bring their new Very
Light Jet to your attention. The company has announced
the first seven stops in a planned nationwide tour promoting the
airplane, expected to become the first certified VLJ to reach the
market.
Eclipse will kick the tour off next month by flying N506EA, the
company's last test aircraft built for the FAA certification
program, to the Nov. 3-5 AOPA Expo in Tampa, FL. From there, it
will make the short hop to Orlando for the NBAA Annual Meeting and
Convention the following week.
N506EA will also be featured at the following locations
throughout the month of November:
- Nov. 12 - Dekalb Peachtree Airport (KPDK) Atlanta, GA, Mercury
Air Center
- Nov. 14 - Memphis International Airport (KMEM) Memphis, TN,
Wilson Air
- Nov. 16 - Addison Airport (KADS) Addison, TX, Million Air
- Nov. 18 - Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS) Austin,
TX, Trajen FBO Network
- Nov. 20 - San Antonio International Airport (KSAT) San Antonio,
TX, Piedmont Hawthorne
Paid registration is
required for admission into AOPA and NBAA, while the latter events
require only a customer RSVP to Eclipse. At each event, N506EA
will be on static display to allow potential customers an up-close
look at the aircraft expected to become the first certified VLJ in
early 2006. A reception will also be held at each event. The
display and reception events will be staffed by Eclipse sales and
marketing representatives.
Future dates and locations are expected to be announced
shortly.
