Adam Aircraft Announces Chris Naro as Chief Financial Officer

This week, Adam Aircraft told ANN a new face will soon be seen at the company's Englewood, CO headquarters. He's Chris Naro, who was named Chief Financial Officer for the aircraft manufacturer.

In his new role, Naro will report to Adam Aircraft Chairman and CEO Rick Adam, and will be responsible for all finance and accounting functions. Among his many duties as CFO, his responsibilities will focus on raising capital, financial planning, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer on ramping aircraft production, and managing continuous improvement programs geared toward improving production and cost efficiencies.

"We welcome Chris as an integral and timely addition to our team," said Rick Adam. "As we enter a period of rapid growth and expansion, Chris' depth of experience in managing critical finance, manufacturing and strategic initiatives with high-growth enterprises will prove indispensable."

Mr. Naro will also be a key member of the Executive Team that will prioritize future markets and product development initiatives for Adam Aircraft.

Prior to joining Adam Aircraft, Naro served in senior finance and business roles over a 22-year career. Significantly, he was the Vice President of Finance and Strategic Analysis for the $10 billion Aerospace Business Unit of Honeywell International. At Honeywell he was responsible for the overall financial performance of the Aerospace Business where his activities involved the implementation of manufacturing productivity and efficiency programs, M&A, financial and strategic planning, as well as the post-merger integration of the aerospace businesses of AlliedSignal and Honeywell.

Mr. Naro has also served as a consultant with McKinsey & Co. and has extensive international experience, including several European and Asian assignments. Other significant manufacturing-related positions include his most recent post at StorageTek in Louisville, Colorado, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer of its largest business unit. Naro holds a BChE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

"We welcome Chris as an integral and timely addition to our team," said CEO Rick Adam. "As we enter a period of rapid growth and expansion, Chris' depth of experience in managing critical finance, manufacturing and strategic initiatives with high-growth enterprises will prove indispensable."

Adam Aircraft's A500 twin-piston aircraft has been Type Certified for limited VFR operations by the FAA, and is currently undergoing tests for its full cert. The company's A700 AdamJet VLJ is also undergoing flight testing and development.
