Elliott Aviation Completes Air Ambulance Interior In King Air B200

Quad Cities Company Expands Capabilities In Custom Aircraft Interiors

Moline, IL-based Elliott Aviation announced this week it has completed a custom air ambulance interior in a Beech King Air B200 for Intermountain Life Flight, a division of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare.

The completion, performed at Elliott Aviation headquarters at Quad Cities International Airport (MLI) in Moline, included the installation of a two-place divan on the left side of the cabin, a Spectrum medical bed, Spectrum Overhead Servoplex, patient entertainment system, new cabin flooring, and Raisbeck crown wing lockers, as well as re-upholstering of the interior. The aircraft also received numerous avionics modifications and paint restriping.

Elliott Aviation has performed numerous custom air ambulance interiors since opening its Completion Center at MLI in 2003. In September, the company earned Supplemental Type Certification for a custom-designed medical stretcher base as part of an air ambulance interior the company installed in a Beechjet 400A aircraft exclusively for Birmingham, Ala.-based AirMed International.

"These projects illustrate how the Elliott Aviation design team can create customized solutions for aircraft owners and operators to meet their mission needs," said Ron Jennings, director of technical sales, Elliott Aviation. "These air ambulance interiors are excellent examples of our individualized approach to each project."

Intermountain Life Flight operates four helicopters and three fixed wing aircraft. to provide patients with care during transport to medical care facilities in Utah and southeastern Idaho.
