EBACE Kicks Off Wednesday

Jet Makers Will Be There

The fifth annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) starts Wednesday in Geneva Switzerland. The three-day event EBACE is jointly hosted each year by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), the leading association for business aviation in Europe, and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the leading voice for the business aviation industry in the United States.

NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen and EBAA CEO Brian Humphries will host this year's Opening General Session, which will be held Wednesday, May 18th from 1030 to 1145.

"EBACE is a great barometer for the European business aviation industry, and it looks like we're in fine shape," said Humphries in a recent statement.

EBACE brings together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, and people involved in every aspect of business aviation. The event takes place at the Geneva Palexpo, located adjacent to Geneva International Airport.

About 250 exhibitors will showcase their wares and roughly 40 aircraft will be on display at the airport. Bombardier, Cessna, Eclipse, Raytheon and others will be at the event.

Bombardier and Raytheon each plan to make product announcements and display their jets. Cessna will be there showing off a mockup of their Citation Mustang along with the rest of their jet lineup.
