Debra Wilcox Named Sr. Vice President Of Bye Energy

Company Focuses On Renewable Fuels For GA

Bye Energy, an integrator of alternative energy and renewable fuel technologies for business and general aviation, has promoted Debra Wilcox to Senior Vice President. She will continue to focus on all aspects of project management related to bio-derived aviation fuel development.

Wilcox, who joined Bye Energy in 2008, was appointed by Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter to represent general aviation interests on the Colorado Aeronautical Board. She is a member of the Colorado Pilots Association and the Citizens Advisory Committee for FasTracks for the Regional Transportation District (RTD). In October, she completed the 2009 National Renewable Energy Laboratory's (NREL) Executive Energy Leadership Program. Wilcox is a member of ASTM International and a member of the D02 Petroleum Products and Lubricants subcommittee. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law.

George Bye, CEO of Bye Energy, commended Wilcox for her contributions, both to the company and to general aviation. "Debra has an extraordinary depth of knowledge and is an effective advocate for clean energy - specifically biofuels," he said. "She is leading our efforts to become a supplier of biofuels for the general aviation market."

Wilcox also emphasized the importance of biofuels. "As an active member of the general aviation community, I am fully aware of the need for domestically produced sustainable aviation fuels and to promote the continued vitality of general aviation," she said. "At Bye Energy we are committed to the development of clean, renewable sources of fuel for general aviation."
