ERAU Upgrades Frasca Simulators

Two DA42 Level 5 FTD To Be Delivered To The University

Frasca International will be providing upgrades to two DA42 Level 5 Flight Training Devices (FTDs) at the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach, FL campus to accurately simulate the DA42 VI aircraft.

The upgrades will include: Level 5 Master Qualification test guides, New Garmin Display Unites for MFDs with FGC 700 controls in bezel, GVC700 Autopilot, modifications to the instrument panel, new throttle quadrant and more. The DA42 FTDs were originally installed at ERAU in late 2007.

Embry-Riddle is a long-time customer of Frasca, with several of the company's simulators in use at its two residential campuses in Daytona Beach and Prescott, AZ, and at its Worldwide Campus centers around the globe. These include one CRJ-200 Level 6 FTD, 11 Cessna 172S Level 6 FTDs, two Piper Seminole Level 6 FTDs, one Piper Seminole Level 5 FTD, one F142P FTD, one F141 FTD, and two Mentor Advanced Aviation Training Devices in addition to the DA42 FTDs..

By upgrading their FTDs, ERAU is able to continue to provide incredibly realistic simulation as they upgrade their aircraft fleet. Frasca offers upgrades and technology enhancements to their customers as an ongoing service to enable them to train their students on the most up to date, realistic and reliable flight training devices and simulators available.
