Rod Machado Training Package Debuts At Sporty's

Learning is fun and exciting with noted aviation instructor and humorist Rod Machado. Two of Machado's products have been combined, the Private Pilot Handbook and Samurai Airmanship DVD, and are being sold exclusively through Sporty's for the price of one.

Machado's Private Pilot Handbook is a unique combination of detailed training information and witty style gained through his 35 years of experience and 8,000 hours of flight time. The Handbook covers everything a beginning student needs to know, from weather and regulations to cross-country navigation and airplane systems. This book has more than 1,100 original illustrations and photos to make complex subjects easy to understand.

Samurai Airmanship is a DVD of one of Machado's classic presentations. In this fast-paced and entertaining DVD, Machado explains how the code of the samurai and their discipline can be adapted for risk management and personal minimums. In Samurai Airmanship, difficult concepts are made easy with humor intermixed to make those concepts stick.

The Private Pilot Handbook with Samurai Airmanship DVD [M173A] is available for $34.95.
