Arlington '06: NWEAA Ready To Get The Word Out

Listen to ANN On The Air At Arlington 2006!

The friendliest fly-in in the world is getting ready to spread the good word.

In addition to some excellent announcing done by a dedicated group of flyers who are in love with aviation and willing to share it with anyone within earshot, the Arlington gang is using the local airwaves to keep folks up to date on the NW EAA Fly-In -- as well as the latest news from Aero-News itself.

During the Arlington EAA Fly-in, a micro power radio station will be broadcasting to the campground with regularly updated information and entertainment for campers and show attendees that can be picked up with any standard radio tuned to 91.5 FM.

"Arlington Radio" will feature daily up to date aviation news and information provided by Aero News-Network, in addition to local news, traffic, and weather, the air show audio feed, updated schedules, and feature programming.

The station will staff a full-time meteorologist offering updated forecasts for attendees and campers. In the evenings the station will broadcast lighter aviation related material provided by a number of first rate podcasters.
