House Bill HR 476 will eliminate G.I. training benefits for those veterans wishing to build a career as a professional pilot.

As a result, a letter-writing campaign has been mounted by an ad-hoc group which hopes to defeat HR 476. On a website designed to send letters to Congress on a variety of issues, the group "Stop HR 476 - Protect Veterans Post 9/11 Benefits" says that while the bill is titled: "GI Bill Education Quality Enhancement Act of 2015", it will actually eliminate the opportunity for Veterans to become professional pilots after serving their Country and earning their Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits." The Aero-News Network, Aero-TV and Airborne Unlimited are honored to partner with the Aircraft Electronics Association to bring exciting news about the latest and greatest avionics developments to the aviation world and, as usual, we're doing it LIVE and in HIGH-DEF. Live Aero-TV high-definition coverage of the AEA Opening Ceremonies and New Product Introductions begin at 8:30 a.m. Central Time (09:30 a.m. Eastern Time) on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015. Airbus celebrated the delivery of its 9000th aircraft at a ceremony in Hamburg, Germany last week. The aircraft is the first A321 to be delivered to Vietnamese carrier VietJetAir and will join the carrier’s all-Airbus A320 Family fleet flying on its fast-growing Asia-Pacific network.
