Expands Northeast Network In First Quarter Of Operation
NxAERO, the first North American charter and aircraft management
company to use TBM 700 turboprop aircraft, today reported strong
customer demand and growth in regional charter service since its
launch in April.
With new corporate offices at the Beverly Airport (BVY) on
Boston's North Shore, NxAERO executives say the company has
captured a growing clientele of business travelers and individuals
in the northeastern US. The demand for NxAero service has prompted
plans by Columbia Air, of Groton, CT, holder of the Part 135 air
charter certificate, to add another TBM 700 and a second base in
the northeast this fall. NxAERO also is adding aircraft under
management and is expanding its working relationships with other
ARG/US-rated charter operators in the northeast to fulfill customer
needs using King Air 200, Pilatus PC-12, Cessna Citation and other
aircraft.
NxAERO's customers benefit from the TBM 700's 300 knot (345 mph)
cruise speed, economical and reliable operation, and comfortable,
pressurized, four-passenger cabin. Company executives say it's
ideal and highly cost-competitive for customers who want fast and
efficient point-to-point travel in the eastern United States and
Canada.
"Overall, we are experiencing strong demand from businesses and
individuals wanting to take advantage of the convenience,
productivity, privacy and security benefits of air charter
service," said Steve Castle, president of NxAERO (above).
"Competitively, the TBM delivers a great combination of performance
and costeffectiveness for a significant portion of customer needs.
Its capabilities open up opportunities for serving an expanding
client base in the northeast, for adding TBM and other aircraft as
customers require, and for expanding our working relationships with
other select charter operators."
