NxAERO: Strong Demand For Tbm 700 Charter Service

Expands Northeast Network In First Quarter Of Operation

NxAERO, the first North American charter and aircraft management company to use TBM 700 turboprop aircraft, today reported strong customer demand and growth in regional charter service since its launch in April.

With new corporate offices at the Beverly Airport (BVY) on Boston's North Shore, NxAERO executives say the company has captured a growing clientele of business travelers and individuals in the northeastern US. The demand for NxAero service has prompted plans by Columbia Air, of Groton, CT, holder of the Part 135 air charter certificate, to add another TBM 700 and a second base in the northeast this fall. NxAERO also is adding aircraft under management and is expanding its working relationships with other ARG/US-rated charter operators in the northeast to fulfill customer needs using King Air 200, Pilatus PC-12, Cessna Citation and other aircraft.

NxAERO's customers benefit from the TBM 700's 300 knot (345 mph) cruise speed, economical and reliable operation, and comfortable, pressurized, four-passenger cabin. Company executives say it's ideal and highly cost-competitive for customers who want fast and efficient point-to-point travel in the eastern United States and Canada.

"Overall, we are experiencing strong demand from businesses and individuals wanting to take advantage of the convenience, productivity, privacy and security benefits of air charter service," said Steve Castle, president of NxAERO (above). "Competitively, the TBM delivers a great combination of performance and costeffectiveness for a significant portion of customer needs. Its capabilities open up opportunities for serving an expanding client base in the northeast, for adding TBM and other aircraft as customers require, and for expanding our working relationships with other select charter operators."
