A Personal Note From ANN's Jim Campbell to the ANN/Airborne/Aero-TV Family

Hi Folks...

I thought a personal note might be just the way to start a process with you all that should result in something quite extraordinary.

Life is INSANE here at ANN HQ... where we're working as hard as we EVER have.... planning, studying, and building something amazing and lasting... the 'Let Bob Fly' documentary film, based on the extensive investigation of the FAA v Bob Hoover case and published as a book, in 1999, called 'Air of Injustice.'

This is the story that started us down the path to a Pilot's Bill of Rights, the full effect of which is yet to be determined, as we still have too few changes to the system that prosecuted Bob in the first place. We won the battle… but have yet to win the war…

So little has changed! So much must yet be done!

That is the message that must be sent to our community!  How did we get here? Why hasn't anything changed? How do we build a sustainable, healthy, aviation community and industry?

We'll be publishing an updated Mission Statement shortly (as soon as Bob gives it a once-over)... but suffice it to say that we're looking to do something more than tell an extraordinary story... we're looking to build a crucial foundation for the necessary changes needed if the pilot community is going to have a positive and lasting future. The main message we're trying to impart is that all that happened to Bob COULD happen to anyone of us--right now... and its time that we made significant changes to the way pilots and other aviation professionals are treated in the US before we lose what's left of this precious community.

That said, let me note this... we need YOUR help... and lots of it. This project is massive -- and costly -- and complex -- and without a LOT of support, we're not going to be able to accomplish all that we plan. So... its up to each of us to step up and be a part of the many solutions needed to rebuild aviation... one flyer at a time.

We will be announcing a huge Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign in just a few weeks... but until then, we have a special Two-Level funding project that we're offering ONLY to ANN readers, Airborne/Aero-TV viewers and a few other of our mutual friends, so that we can get a start on some early plans and projects. We have equipment to upgrade, interviews to conduct, research to undertaken, trips to make and LOTS of other expenses required to do the job that YOU deserve.

Simply put, in order to get a start on the necessary fund-raising requirements, we're offering what we call the Founders100 and Founders200 packages (for either $100 or $200, respectively). Each offering offers a reward package of various cool goodies... such as copies of either the Air Of Injustice eBook or one of the few remaining First Edition print copies, Film Posters, Challenge Coins, Certificates of support, inclusion in our sponsor pages and even Video On Demand access to some of our new, upcoming 'Hoover Highlight' bonus video programs. Click on the links to either Founders level (or go to www.letbobfly.net to check them all) to see all the cool goodies that these packages offer and PLEASE help us build something exceptional... so that the future of aviation can be made likewise.

And please... if you think it appropriate, PLEASE forward this email to a friend or associate that might find our efforts worthwhile enough to support this effort.

Also... for those of you with the requisite backgrounds and skill sets, we are looking for volunteer help to build up the campaign that will support these projects. We're looking for aid and support in PR/Mktg, Blog Updates, Aero-Community Outreach and News/Media Outreach/Coordination. If you have skills in these areas and want to help us change the direction of aviation by referencing the lessons of the past, please contact jim@aero-news.net, ASAP.

Please participate in the Founders100 program for a donation of only $100. 'Let Bob Fly' Founders100 Donation (Click Here!)

Please participate in the Founders200 program for a donation of only $200. 'Let Bob Fly' Founders200 Donation (Click Here!)

And if you have ANY questions, suggestions or just want to be a part of one of the most exciting projects we've EVER undertaken, feel free to email me at jim@aero-news.net or call me at 863-299-8680.
