Embraer Signs StandardAero To Long-Term APU Support Contract

Agreement Covers E-Series Jets

Tempe, AZ-based StandardAero said on Monday that it has signed a long-term agreement to support Embraer's global Pool programs for the Hamilton Sundstrand APS 2300 Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). These APUs are operated on the Embraer 170,175, 190, and 195 aircraft.

This agreement reflects the growing significance StandardAero is having in the global aviation market," said Tim Fischer, vice president, StandardAero Maryville. "Our ability to secure a long-term APU support deal with Embraer reflects the confidence they have in us. We're pleased that Embraer conducted its due diligence and found us to be their best support partner."

The partnership provides worldwide support for four of Embraer's sites, including Fort Lauderdale, Paris, and Singapore, as well as Brazil. This new APU support agreement is a major milestone for StandardAero's operation in Maryville, TN where all of the work will be performed.
