Source: Bombardier chief executive Laurent Beaudoin, in a conference call to financial analysts reporting that after losses of $85 million in 2004, Bombardier returned to profitability in the 4th quarter of 2005 with an overall profit of $249 million for the year. Despite dropping sales of the manufacturer's regional jet airliners, strong sales of the company's business jet offerings and regional turboprops made up the difference -- a scenario Bombarider expects will continue for 2006.
