Stratos Completes Personal Jet Cabin Mockup

You Can Sit In The Cabin At Oshkosh

In the continuing development of its Stratos 714 Very Light Personal Jet (VLPJ), Stratos Aircraft announced Friday  the completion of a full-scale cabin mock-up to be displayed in space #320 at the week-long EAA AirVenture show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin starting July 27, 2009.

For the first time, potential customers will have an opportunity to sit in the Stratos 714 and experience the cabin and modern styling.  Company officials will use the opportunity to gather feedback that can be incorporated into the final design. CEO Michael Lemaire added, "the full-size mock-up clearly demonstrates the level of roominess and comfort we are aiming to achieve.  No amount of blue-prints or renderings can replace actually sitting in the cabin."

Additionally, a leading aerodynamics company has independently validated the primary performance targets of the Stratos 714.  "As the 714 program evolves, our confidence in reaching our objectives of carrying four adults with baggage at 400 knots a distance of 1,500 nm with NBAA IFR reserves is being reinforced by this and other analyses," stated Carsten Sundin, Chief Technical Officer at Stratos Aircraft.
