Recipient To Get $3,000 Toward Tuition At An Arizona College Or University
Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance is pleased to once again offer the Scholarship for Excellence in Aviation. Applications are being accepted now through July 11th for the fall 2014 scholarship award.
Angel MedFlight established the scholarship, in partnership with the Arizona Business Aviation Association (AZBAA), to promote leadership and resourcefulness in students enrolled in aviation degree programs across Arizona. The recipient will receive $3,000 toward his or her tuition at an accredited Arizona college or university.
"Part of our mission is to give back to our communities and this scholarship allows us multiple touch points," adds Cassandra Graper, Angel MedFlight Executive Vice President. "We have a unique opportunity to nurture the educational dreams of a local student and support the development of business aviation careers."
Interested applicants must prepare a three-minute video biography for Angel MedFlight explaining the importance of an aviation career to them; a situation where they demonstrated resourcefulness when presented with a challenge; and improvements they would like to see in Arizona's aviation industry.
Candidates should submit the video biography along with a completed and signed application, resume, and two letters of recommendation. Video applications must be postmarked by July 11, 2014.
