Raytheon Appoints Banyan as an Authorized Service Center

Raytheon Aircraft Company (RAC) has appointed Banyan Air Service as an Authorized Service Center for its Bonanza, Baron and King Air Series airplanes. Banyan, located at Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) with more than 130 employees is a full service FBO specializing in airframe maintenance, engine repair and avionics upgrades for a wide variety of today’s corporate and general aviation aircraft.

Banyan Air Service is the largest fixed base operator at Executive Airport with approximately 400 aircraft based at their facility. They currently occupy 210,000 square feet of hangar and office space to serve their customers.

Banyan is an approved FAA and EASA repair station and has also earned certification from the Argentinean, Brazilian and Venezuelan governments as an approved repair station. Banyan has experience on most King Air and Beechcraft models, and has performed major and minor inspections including:

  • Approved maintenance, avionic modifications and structural repairs
  • Engine overhaul management, hot section inspections and repairs
  • All Chapter V Inspections and complete Phase I -  IV inspections
  • Comprehensive avionics capabilities including engineering, repairs, installation and integration.
  • Pre-purchase evaluations, DAR consulting, imports and exports

“Providing world-class service and support for our customers is an everyday requirement. This addition to our network of Authorized Service Centers emphasizes our commitment to our growing number of Beechcraft customers,” said Randy Groom, president, Global Customer Service and Support.

“The establishment of an authorized service center at the Banyan Air Service facility ensures that we can achieve this requirement and meet our customers’ expectations.”

“Located at Ft. Lauderdale Executive, the gateway to the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Latin America, we are thrilled with our new alliance with Raytheon Aircraft Company which empowers us to better achieve our mission of creating customer loyalty through excellence in aviation service,” states Don Campion, president of Banyan Air Service.
