ANA Selects Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 Engines For New Aircraft

Latest Order Valued At $130 Million For Dreamliners

Rolls-Royce has been selected by All Nippon Airways (ANA) to provide Trent 1000 engines, worth $130 million, to power three additional Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. ANA has previously selected the engine three times, to power a total of 80 787 Dreamliners.

The Trent 1000 powered the very first 787 Dreamliner into service with ANA in 2011. Since then the engine has completed more than 650,000 in-service flying hours with an engine dispatch reliability of 99.9%.

“We are pleased to continue to select the Trent 1000," said Hiroyuki Ito, Senior Executive Vice President, ANA. "It has served us very well through our entry into service and we continue to receive excellent customer support throughout from Rolls-Royce.”

“We are proud that ANA, the launch customer for the 787 Dreamliner, has selected us for a fourth time," said Dominic Horwood, Chief Customer Officer, Rolls-Royce, Civil Large Engines. "It continues to demonstrate its confidence in the outstanding performance, reliability and economics of the Trent 1000.”
