Bombardier Marks First Challenger 350 Delivery In Belgium

Business Aircraft Operator Luxaviation Group Will Manage The Aircraft Based In Brussels

Bombardier Business Aircraft announced today that the Luxaviation Group, one of the largest business aircraft operators worldwide, now operates the first Challenger 350 aircraft delivered to a customer in Belgium. This new addition to the Benelux market joins Bombardier’s robust business aircraft fleet in Europe. Bombardier’s more than 600 aircraft in service in the region represent the largest share of the industry’s total European fleet.

“We are very pleased that Bombardier’s best-selling Challenger 350 business jet has joined Luxaviation’s fleet of aircraft,” said Christophe Degoumois, Vice President, Sales, Europe, Russia and CIS, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “With its impressive high-performance features, superior economics, unmatched cabin comfort and entertainment technology, the Challenger 350 aircraft is ideally suited for the European market.”

“At Luxaviation, we have always set the bar very high for international business aviation operations, and our facilities in Belgium are a true reflection of this. Our ExecuJet Brussels Fixed Base Operation (FBO) was the first to be certified by the International Standard of Business Air Handling (IS-BAH) in the country, and we’ve just achieved IS-BAH Stage II certification, proving our team’s dedication to safety and service excellence,” said Hervé Laitat, CEO of Luxaviation Belgium. "We’re looking forward to extending our renowned offering to the owner of Belgium’s first Challenger 350.”

As the only super mid-size aircraft that can fly full range at full fuel with full seat capacity, the Challenger 350 aircraft offers the luxury of having it all. Valued for its outstanding short-field performance, the aircraft climbs quickly and directly to 43,000 feet, allowing passengers to efficiently avoid traffic and inclement weather.

Recently awarded steep approach certifications by several international regulatory bodies, including EASA, FAA and TC, the Challenger 350 aircraft allows operators to perform landings in countless difficult-to-access airfields, including London City Airport, neighboring one of the world’s greatest financial centers.
