Classic Aero-TV: Redbird FMX -- The Leading Edge in GA Flight Sims

Redbird Creates A Great Leap Forward In GA Flight Simulation Technology

Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc. is a VERY interesting Austin, Texas based company dedicated to revolutionizing aviation by designing, manufacturing and delivering affordable and innovative flight training technologies. Each of the Redbird devices is designed to enhance the training experience for pilots of all levels, from student to ATP.

Redbird is quickly becoming the industry standard for flight training systems. Since Redbird introduced its line of training devices in 2007, which includes the highly successful FMX, an increasing number of flight training providers are integrating Redbird products into their curriculum.

The Redbird FMX is a cost-effective, full motion, feature-rich Advanced Aviation Training Device priced with real-world flight training organizations in mind. With standard features that are anything but standard such as wrap-around visuals, a fully enclosed cockpit, quick-change configurations, scenario-based training compatibility and of course an electric motion platform, the FMX serves up a level of realism that is simply unavailable in other training devices on the market.

The FMX was designed to be reconfigurable, allowing the flight school to use one simulator to represent all of the airplanes in their training fleet. It’s versatile enough to be used for Single or Multi-engine training and can represent glass panel aircraft as well as traditional 6-pack configurations.
