Robert Blaha Joins Aspen Avionics

Industry Veteran Comes From Honeywell

Aspen Avionics, Inc. told ANN Wednesday that industry veteran Robert Blaha has joined the Albuquerque, NM-based avionics manufacturer as Manager of Sales. Blaha will help define and implement Aspen Avionics' new sales, dealer and customer programs.

Most recently, Blaha was employed by Honeywell International, where he was Area Sales Manager for the Southwest region of the United States.

"Robert is going to be a valuable addition to the Aspen team," said John Uczekaj, Aspen Avionics' President and CEO. "He has the skills, integrity and the reputation within the dealer channel to develop even more business for the company. In addition, Robert is a pilot and A&P with an intuitive understanding of the needs and opportunities within the General Aviation (GA) market."

Throughout Blaha’s career, he has held several key sales positions for Macaw Electronics, SCI/Midland International and Honeywell International. He has been responsible for launching several products, building and supporting dealer programs, and cultivating emerging GA markets.

Blaha holds a BS in Aviation Maintenance Management from Lewis University. He is also a pilot with Commercial, Ground Instructor and Flight Instructor certificates, as well as holding an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanical certificate.
