Garmin Offers Year-End Savings

Panel Mounts, Portables Eligible For Rebate Programs

Garmin announced a dramatic savings program, "Soar into Savings," Thursday, where customers can earn up to $7,000 in rebates on a variety of panel mount avionics. Customers selecting any combination of the G600 retrofit flight display, GNS 500W or GNS 400W GPS/Nav/Comm panel mount series, GTS traffic series, GWX 68 weather RADAR series or the GDL 69 or 69A datalink receivers, will be able to take advantage of these rebates.

The "Soar into Savings" rebate offer expires December 31, 2009, and rebate submissions must be postmarked by January 31, 2010.

In addition, Garmin recently announced a $300 rebate for the GPSMAP 695/696 portable GPS device on purchases made between now and December 31, 2009.  The GPSMAP 695/696 is Garmin's flagship portable that offers airways, electronic chart and expanded weather capabilities. It has a 7-inch portrait screen that makes it possible to view an entire approach plate on the display. It also includes features such as Smart Airspace, SafeTaxi and AOPA Airport Directory data.

Those customers deciding to take advantage of the $300 GPSMAP 695/696 rebate, should also consider Garmin's new online eLearning program that will walk them through the robust product features.
