Leading Edge Aircraft Sales Will Cover SE United States
Evektor America tells ANN it has named a new sales center for
its Evektor SportStar light sport aircraft. Leading Edge Aircraft
Sales will represent the Evektor product line in the states of
Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, and North &
South Carolina.
Leading Edge Aircraft Sales is based at the Vandenberg Airport
in Tampa, FL with a satellite office at Mathis County Airport
outside of Atlanta, GA. The company plans to implement a fractional
ownership program for the SportStar in the southeast later this
year.
Leading Edge company principals Ken Sponagle and Bruce Samulin
both have extensive aviation backgrounds.
"What attracted us to Evektor besides the fact that the
SportStar is the leading low-wing aircraft in the LSA category is
the history of the manufacture and the product; equally important
was the US-based product support program," said
Samulin.
"We are thrilled to appoint a professional company like Leading
Edge Aircraft Sales to represent the SportStar and Cobra in such an
important aviation market area of the country," said Evektor
America president Jeff Conrad. "We have had a record amount of
inquiries from the southeastern states."
Evektor America is currently the #3 distributor of light sport
aircraft in the US. As Aero-News reported earlier this
week, the Kerrville, TX-based company delivered its
50th SportStar at a ceremony just before the start of the Sun 'N
Fun show in Lakeland, FL.
