CAE Oxford Aviation Academy, easyJet Continue Collaboration

Launch Next Phase Of Enrolment On easyjet Multi-Crew Pilot License First Officer Program

CAE Oxford Aviation Academy has launched the next phase of enrolment on the easyJet Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) First Officer Program. A total of 24 cadets will be selected to start MPL training for easyJet over the next 12 months. This is an opportunity for aspiring pilots to train under the mentorship of easyJet and go on to fly as First Officers on their Airbus A319/A320 fleet.

In 2011, easyJet selected CAE Oxford Aviation Academy as its exclusive launch partner for this innovative Mentored Airline Pilot Program based upon the Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL). Since that launch, 72 cadets have been selected and have commenced training for easyJet. Out of those 72 cadets, 41 have already completed their training at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy and have joined easyJet as A319/A320 First Officers.

The MPL program provided by CAE Oxford Aviation Academy is just one of CAE's pilot training solutions for easyJet. In 2012, easyJet named CAE as a preferred training supplier in a 7-year contract covering a wide range of training, including MPL, Type Rating and Recurrent Training. Pilot Recruitment and Sourcing services are also provided through CAE Parc Aviation.
