Acrohelipro Appoints Scott Starick To Post At AL Facility

Assumes Role As Avionics Manager For Acrohelipro-Alabama

Acrohelipro Global Services Inc. told ANN Friday Scott Starick was recently named Avionics Manager for Acrohelipro-Alabama, the company's helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul facility located in Andalusia, AL.

"Starick has attributes that make him the perfect person to fill the role of Avionics Manager, and to continue to grow and develop our aviation support business; both on a regional and global basis," said Ronnie Kearns, General Manager of the facility.

Acrohelipro states Starick's 19-plus-years of experience in the aviation industry covers a wide variety of experiences and qualifications, ranging from engine overhaul to maintenance, major structural repairs, electrical trouble-shooting, custom avionics design, installation and certification, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) research and design and project management as a systems engineer.

"He is truly an accomplished aviation and avionics professional, and coupled with his commitment to delivering world-class customer service and quality products, he is a tremendous addition to the Acrohelipro team, and a valuable asset to our customers," said Kearns.

As ANN reported, Acrohelipro-Alabama recently announced plans to construct a new 36,000 square-foot helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul facility to support structural and component repair for the Bell and Eurocopter product lines.

Kearns says Starick will play a key role in the organization’s continued strategic growth in capacity and capability.
