AvFab Receives STC For King Air 300/350 Commuter Seats

Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) has announced that it has recently received STC approval for the manufacture of King Air 300 and 350 Commuter Seats. AvFab already holds the Commuter Seat STC for the King Air 90, 100 and 200 series aircraft. The addition of the 300 and 350 series aircraft ensures that virtually any King Air can be outfitted with these durable, hinged-back commuter seats.

AvFab has engineered their commuter seat design to eliminate the need for repair or maintenance in response to those owners who have had trouble with the durability of other commuter seats. In fact, AvFab is so confident in their design that a five-year parts and labor warranty is included.

No airframe modification is required, other than removing the existing seats and furnishings and sliding the new high-density commuter seats into the existing seat rails. Complete installation instructions, diagrams and weight and balance are included with each kit. The seats come painted, but can be fitted with foam and upholstery for an additional fee.

King Air operators who are looking to maximize capacity of their aircraft can also order the STC-approved AvFab King Air Aft Jump seat kit, which can be installed economically in conjunction with each ship set of Commuter Seats.

AvFab not only provides FAA-PMA custom aircraft seating with STC approvals, but it is also an inspection, repair and overhaul facility centered around serving the seating and interior component needs of corporate  aircraft.
