iFlightPlanner Announces New Features In Advance Of Oshkosh

GPX, FPL File Import/Export Capabilities Now Available

With AirVenture 2014 fast approaching, iFlightPlanner says they have all hands on deck in Ann Arbor preparing for what is going to be a great week Wisconsin. As they get things packed up and ready to go, the company has announced a few new features and enhancements you'll be able to see at the show.

iFlightPlanner Premium Members now have the ability to import .GPX flight plan files into iFlightPlanner to assist in the planning of flight routes.  This new functionality complements the already popular feature of being able to save routes planned on iFlightPlanner to the .GPX and Garmin .FPL flight plan file formats for use in compatible avionics packages.

Also recently upgraded is the behind-the-scenes processing of Temporary Flight Restrictions from http://tfr.faa.gov for all map views available on iFlightPlanner.com and iFlightPlanner for iPad.  While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of TFRs, please double check current NOTAMS before you fly.

And finally, the Jardur Watch Company has been named the exclusive timekeeper of iFlightPlanner and will be the presenting sponsor of the official ZULU (GMT) time found throughout our web-based flight planning products.  Look for "ZULU by Jardur" in the lower-right corner of your web browser.
