Buying a Biz Bird?

Seminar May Help Formulate, Justify Decision

A lot of new factors are in the air, so to speak, when one considers the purchase of a new aircraft for business. The IRS has changed its rules recently, and that, as they say, changes everything. Everything else is changing, as well: the used biz-craft market is starting to firm up; helicopters are becoming better-recognized for business travel; new entries have never been more enticing, and prices -- for equipment and financing -- are historically low.

Nel Sanders-Stubbs will be speaking about Conklin & de Decker's aircraft acquisition seminar at a special presentation during the NBAA. The seminar will be offered to attendees on Wednesday, October 8 at 10AM in a briefing room at the Orange County Convention Center (room TBA).

The session will outline the details of the course, which covers issues related to the analysis of aircraft operating costs, ownership alternatives and aircraft asset management. Conklin & de Decker's Aircraft Acquisition Planning Seminar has been approved by the NBAA as a Professional Development Program (PDP) Provider, and their Aircraft Acquisition Planning Seminar meets the PDP Objective AM3 for aviation management.

The next actual Aircraft Acquisition Planning Seminar will be held in Scottsdale (AZ) on November 11-12, 2003 (the two days prior to an NBAA Regional Meeting in Scottsdale).
