Bardstown, KY Airport Set For Cessna 170 Convention

Full Schedule Of Activities Gets Underway Friday

Samuels Field (KBRY) in Bardstown, KY, is set for their annual International Cessna 170 Convention, taking place July 19-24.

There is a full schedule of activities planned for the five-day gathering, starting with a welcome reception Friday night.

Saturday morning there will be a fly-out for breakfast to Rough River, and a maintenance forum on charging and starting systems later in the day. Sunday is Airport Day, with a "poker run" scheduled along with a second maintenance forum. Sunday night is aircraft judging and a silent auction.

Other events through the week include the Convention Host Meeting and Area Reps Meeting on Monday, along with the annual membership meeting Monday afternoon. Other activities and additional fly-outs will be held to round out the gathering.
