Stallion 51’s Lee Lauderback to Perform at OSH21

'Mr. Mustang' Returns to Wittman Field!

Stallion 51’s Lee Lauderback, EAA 333795, is returning to Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture 2021!

Lee Lauderback is the highest time Mustang pilot in the world and is Stallion 51’s founder and chief pilot, which offers flight training in their dual cockpit-dual control Mustangs. Lee will be flying Stallion 51’s 1944 Mustang Crazy Horse 2 more than 1,000 miles from Stallion 51 in Kissimmee, Florida, to Oshkosh to participate in the air show.

Lee Lauderback was an inductee in the EAA Warbirds of America 2013 Hall of Fame and 2019 Florida Aviation Hall of Fame. He started flying sailplanes at age 14 and launched his corporate aviation career immediately after college with the late professional golfer, philanthropist and businessman, Arnold Palmer.

Lee was Mr. Palmer’s chief pilot and the director of flight operations for 17 years, flying several different models of Citation jets, a Learjet and a MD500E helicopter. He was also the President and CEO of Stallion 51 Corporation located at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport, Florida.

Since 1987, Stallion 51’s innovative and comprehensive curriculums have instructed thousands of pilots on the correct and safe methods of flying both the legendary P-51 Mustang and the historic T-6 Texan.

Lee will be honoring the P-51’s significant contributions to the Allies winning World War II during his signature solo Mustang demonstrations in the Friday and Saturday, July 30-31, air shows along with many other significant WWII aircraft. Lee will also be flying his signature routine during Wednesday’s air show.
