Vertical Aviation Technologies, Inc.
of Orlando, Florida has announced a recent change in the price of
the Hummingbird four place helicopter kit. The Hummingbird is being
offered for a limited time at a price of $123,750.00.
"We have been filling orders for the Hummingbird in the past
without production runs while we delivered other helicopters like
our nine passenger Whisper Jet helicopters; states Brad Clark
president of Vertical Aviation Technologies, Inc. The timing is
right to offer the Hummingbird at a reduced price by producing in
quantities." The first production run is set for this fall. This is
a unique opportunity for an individual, corporation, or Government
to step into a new four place helicopter at a tremendous price
savings.
The Hummingbird was introduced in 1991 and is the only four
place helicopter kit available worldwide. Simple in design and easy
to assemble, this concept of selling in kit form reduces all costs
from the purchase price to operating expenses.
"It is important to note that the Hummingbird was designed to be
a certified helicopter, so this is a real advantage over
conventional experimental kits; explains Brad Clark. This
helicopter design went through stringent FAA certification,
Sikorsky engineering and endurance testing, and has established a
proven history over the years with no inherent problems with the
design. Compare this new price with certified helicopters of the
same category." The Hummingbird has a useful load of 900 lbs. range
of 375 miles and can be configured for many missions.
