Goodrich Exhibit Will Enhance Canadian Air And Space Museum

At The End Of The Day, It's All About The Landing Gear

Goodrich Corporation’s Landing Gear business in Oakville, Ontario will provide an innovative exhibit for the Canadian Air and Space Museum’s revitalization effort. The announcement was made at a ceremony held at the museum Tuesday.

Featuring one of Goodrich’s large commercial aircraft landing gear, the exhibit is expected to include an interactive display that will demonstrate the functionality of the landing gear while also highlighting the complexities of its internal design.

In a speech at the ceremony, Tim Whittier, director of government relations for Goodrich Landing Gear, said “Through the years, Goodrich has had the opportunity to be a part of some truly remarkable aircraft. We are committed to supporting the Canadian Air and Space Museum and its goal of becoming a national showcase for Canada’s aeronautical achievements. We intend to work with the museum to develop an innovative exhibit that illustrates the talents of our employees and prompts young visitors to imagine what they too may be able to achieve through vision, ingenuity, and perseverance.”

The Canadian Air and Space Museum, located in one of Toronto's oldest and best-preserved aerospace heritage buildings, is dedicated to telling the distinctly Canadian stories of aviation, space history and innovation.
