USAF Signs Rockwell Collins To Logistics Support Agreement

Worth Up To $3.6 Billion

Rockwell Collins and Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) have entered into a 10-year strategic contract to enhance the availability of Rockwell Collins resources and improve technical and logistics support to maximize operational readiness. This indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling of $3.6 billion.

Under the terms of the agreement, Collins Aviation Services (CAS) will deliver a full range of Rockwell Collins' products and services to United States Air Force and Department of Defense customers. Additionally, the contract brings together Air Force and Rockwell Collins support expertise to provide transformational depot partnering arrangements that utilize both parties' resources to enhance mission capability.

"This strategic agreement will improve the availability and reliability of Rockwell Collins avionics components; the result will be increased warfighter readiness at reduced costs," said Harry Gregory, senior vice president and general manager of Collins Aviation Services. "We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to partner with the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center team in optimizing our respective core competencies."

Colonel Bruce Litchfield, Director of the Warner Robins, Air Logistics Center, Combat Electronic Systems Directorate added, "The reason for this contract is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency by which we support critical systems used by the men and women engaged in our Nation's war on terrorism. In partnership with Rockwell Collins, we can make smart decisions that balance cost with availability, reliability, and maintainability across a wide array of systems. Anyone in DoD with a Rockwell Collins specific system can take advantage of this ground-breaking contract. Everyone wins under this arrangement."
