AVLogbook Version 2 Released

Tracks Flight Time From Student, On Through ATP

Aero-News has learned of the release of Version 2 of on-line pilot logbook AVLogbook, which AlphaVictor Companies CEO Bruce Micek says is "now the fastest, most feature-filled electronic logbook on the market."

Features include a new 23,000 airport database, full auto-fill capability, automatic night-flight calculator, distance calculator with cross-country fill, maneuvers and endorsements pull-down menus and complete expense logging. There's also pull-down capability for students, instructors, clients and examiners with full contact information and auto-fill.

The new version of AVLogbook automatically expands from a very simple, user-friendly tool for students, and onto multiple ratings and commercial tasks. AVLogbook also offers turbine pilots a special section to view 'time in type', 'last flight' and a rolling 90 day track of night and day takeoffs and landings broken down between PIC and SIC.

Add-on features in development include invoicing for contract pilots and instructors, and cross-fill capabilities for CFIs and their students. AVLogbook also includes a full 'search' menu, an automatic 'due dates' routine that tracks currency, medical certificates, passport renewals and Part 61 and 135 requirements. There's also a graphic display of flight times.

Pilots can download AVLogbook into Excel or CSV formats at any time and can upload many of the existing electronic logbooks. As a special feature for those who wish to 'backfill' previous log entries for their paper versions, AVLogbook will accept balances brought forward, but will replace each balance brought forward total when the backfill entry is made to ensure correct balances.

"After more than 50 years in the aviation business, I believe that AVLogbook is one of the finest tools ever offered for the pilot. We work it constantly and provide lightning-fast response to member questions and comments," Micek added.

Interested pilots are invited to take AVLogbook for a test flight at no charge nor obligation for 30 days, by visiting the FMI link below. For a limited time, AlphaVictor is also offering a lifetime membership for $125.
