Textron Delivers Pink King Air To Wheels Up

Airplane Will Help Raise Awareness For Breast Cancer

A Beech King Air 350i in colorful livery has been delivered by Textron to Wheels Up. The airplane is adorned in shades of pink to help raise awareness for breast cancer.

October is national breast cancer awareness month.

The plane was delivered in Wichita. Wheels Up founder and CEO Kenny Dichter was on hand for the event, according to the Wichita Business Journal.

The aircraft is the 45th to enter the Wheels Up fleet. It will enter service October 1, according to the company.

Textron CEO Scott Ernst said the company was happy to assist in Dichter's effort. “We are fully supportive of this entire effort and appreciate the opportunity to be able to help (Dichter) celebrate this very important month going forward,” he said.

Wheels Up will also be raising funds for the Dubin Breast Center at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, according to the report.
