What Was Best... And Worst... In Your Book?
Here we go, just two weeks after AirVenture 2008...
and the ANN staff has ALMOST recovered from our annual week(s) at
Wittman Field. As is our custom, we're taking a few days/weeks to
consider things carefully, and have assembled a few articles and
awards lists that quantify and qualify the very best and worst of
the Oshkosh 2008 experience. BUT... we're getting ready to let fly
with this year's rendition.
As such, we have an extensive "Best and Worst" list coming up in
a few days. We've assembled a lot of data, and we've
also received A LOT of great comments from our readers
(early trend/note to EAA--better food, more trams, lower
prices...)
We'll read ALL of your comments... and will take YOUR opinions
and experiences into account as YOU get to tell us what
you liked BEST and LEAST about Oshkosh -- it's people, planes,
products and programs.
Celebrate, congratulate, bitch, moan... do whatever your heart
desires... but DO be sure to clue us in.
Let us have it... the good, the bad and the not-so-airworthy --
and we'll take it all into account in the last few days left before
we unveil our FINAL shot at trying to document what Oshkosh 2008
was all about.
Also; if you've got some feedback to offer on the aircraft YOU
think we need to select as our 2008 Plane of the Year, speak now,
or forever hold your pieces. There's not much time left in which to
be heard!
We WILL also announce ANN's coveted selections for Planes Of The
Year later this month... and YOUR feedback on those selections is
both encouraged and welcome, as well.
