Will Participate As A Judge In The 2nd Annual Spark Tank Competition
The Air Force Association (AFA) has announced that Mark Cuban, renowned entrepreneur, investor, and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, will provide a keynote address and participate as a judge in this year's Spark Tank Competition at AFA's 2019 Air Warfare Symposium to be held February 28-March 1, 2019 in Orlando, Florida.
"AFA is proud to welcome distinguished businessman and investor Mark Cuban as a judge on this year's Spark Tank Competition at our Air Warfare Symposium. We think his unique perspectives as a genuine innovator and successful business leader will resonate well with an Air Force eager to innovate. And who better to judge our Spark Tank than a star of the television show Shark Tank!" said AFA President General Larry O. Spencer, USAF (Ret).
After a successful inaugural year, the Spark Tank Competition will return to AFA's Air Warfare Symposium for its second annual competition. Designed to unleash the innovative capacity of Airmen, the final round of competition culminates with six teams pitching cutting-edge innovations, inventions and transformative technologies to a panel of senior Air Force leaders and prominent innovators.
At AFA's Air Warfare Symposium, Cuban will share his insights on thought leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Distinguished speakers will participate on more than 15 panels and sessions, including major addresses by Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson, Air Force Chief of Staff General David Goldfein, and Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Kaleth Wright.
