If You're On Your Way To Oshkosh Next Week...

Heading For "The Big O?"

Here's a nifty idea... The folks at Kirksville Airport (IRK), some 85 miiles due North of Columbia (MO), are offering Oshkosh Discounts on Food & Fuel, from Sat 7/24/04 11:00 AM to Mon 8/2/04 5:00 PM.

In celebration of OshKosh and all that is good with aviation, the Kirksville Airport Association will be custom cooking hamburgers and hot dogs on the weekends.

  • July 24th & 25th, from 11am to 5 pm.
  • July 31st & August 1st, from 10am to 5pm.

From 8am to 6pm, the city of Kirksville will sell FUEL discounted by $ 0.25, making the cost $2.42 per gallon. After-hours service will be provided if necessary. A self serve credit card kiosk is available, but will not provide the discount. Kirksville's location is close to the triangulation point between Des Moines, St. Louis, & Kansas City.
