Terror Tot Sparks Helo Search... One Day After Sparking House
Fire
One crafty four-year-old
boy sparked a massive search in England this weekend, as his clever
hiding place led to more than 100 people -- and even a police
helicopter -- trying to "seek" him out.
It all started when the boy, Jordan, thought it would be a great
idea to hide under his stepfather's 4x4 Saturday night. Well, it
worked, as no one could find the precocious tot... leading his
mother and stepdad to call the police, after they couldn't find
him.
That, in turn, led to search parties being sent out for the boy
on the ground... while the police helicopter searched from
overhead, using an infrared camera.
So where in the world was Jordan? Low and behold, he was
eventually found under the vehicle.
Alas, this isn't the first time Jordan has caused his parents
grief -- in fact, it wasn't even the first time in the past 48
hours. The Weston Mercury reports the day before, Jordan had set
fire to the upstairs of his house, after playing with a lighter he
found in the park.
The damage from the blaze forced his newly married mum and her
husband to cancel their honeymoon plans... but, as Jordan's stepdad
says, "he's got the face of an angel... You can't stay angry with
him for long though as he doesn't really know right from
wrong."
Yeah, OK. At least they never let him aboard the police
helicopter. Collectively here at ANN... we shudder to think of the
damage he might have caused there.
