Probe-Based AOA System Introduced By Advanced Flight Systems

Does Not Require Connection To Existing Pitot-Static System

A new Probe-Based Angle-of-Attack System, based on our popular and proven AOA System with over two thousand installations, has been introduced by Advanced Flight Systems. The new instrument adds still another option for those wanting the added safety of an Advanced Flight AOA.

The new AFS AOA Pro III system utilizes a super bright custom LCD with 26 colored segments giving the pilot superior resolution AOA readout when calibrated to the aircraft. Unlike other systems, our AOA uses separate calibration data for flaps up and down for a more accurate solution. The AOA Pro III uses our Patented AOA algorithm and a wing inspection plate mounted AOA Probe. The AOA Pro III does not require connection to the aircraft’s existing Pitot or Static system.

The system includes a machined aluminum AOA display, AOA CPU module, push buttons, flap switch, wiring harness, AOA Probe, 25 ft of tubing and a detailed instruction manual. An optional glare shield mounting bracket and heated probe are available.

Founded in 1999, Advanced Flight Systems Inc. is one of the leading manufacturers of avionics for Experimental and Light Sport Aircraft. Advanced Flight Systems has a history of developing high-quality feature rich avionics that are user-friendly.
