Things That Go Buzz In The Night

"Personal Massager" Shuts Down Aussie Airport

Would you want to go through airport security with a sex toy in your luggage? Well, neither did an Australian passenger boarding a flight at Mackay Airport in Queensland.

The manager of the airport cafeteria said her workers were cleaning out the garbage cans Monday when one of them heard a very unusual sound (well, unusual if you hear it in a cafeteria).

"It was rather disconcerting when the rubbish bin started humming furiously," said manager Lynne Bryant. "We called security and next minute everybody was being evacuated while they checked it out."

In fact, the entire terminal was evacuated. The airport was shut down as bomb squads gingerly approached the buzzing trash can, peered inside and found...

Well, probably something Doc Johnson and company concocted. A sex toy, to be specific.

The airport was reopened about 45 minutes after the initial alert. As for the sex toy, no one claimed it. It's now in the lost and found bin -- sans batteries.
