SpaceX Launch To ISS Reset For March 30

Launch Postponed By Station Debris Avoidance Maneuver

SpaceX has confirmed it will target its next cargo mission launch to the International Space Station from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, for 2250 EDT, Sunday, March 30.

The mission was reportedly delayed by a repositioning maneuver conducted by station personnel last week to avoid space junk that was expected to pass near the station. While NASA said a collision was unlikely, the ISS was maneuvered out of the way as a precaution. That forced the delay in the cargo resupply launch.

NASA says that a March 30 launch would result in SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft arriving at the station on Wednesday, April 2 at approximately 0700 EDT.

The mission will be SpaceX's third resupply flight to the orbiting outpost.
