Sonex Tempts Fly-In Attendees With Free Gas

Also Offers Financing On Kits

If owners and pilots of Sonex airplanes needed any more incentive to visit the company's Oshkosh, WI plant this weekend for the First Annual Sonex Fly-O-Rama... how about free gas?

The company told Aero-News Monday that Sonex pilots flying in for the June 17 event will receive a free top-off of 100LL prior to departing Oshkosh, compliments of Sonex Aircraft.

Representatives with Sonex say several Sonex pilots are already planning to attend -- weather permitting -- and  they hope this "shameless promotion" will attract even more.

While they won't be able to take advantage of the free-fuel promotion, non-Sonex pilots are still welcome to attend, so they can see the variety of customer-built aircraft, factory prototype aircraft, and take a factory tour.

And, those pilots may also be tempted into purchasing a Sonex kit... especially as the company also announced that Sonex Aircraft Complete Airframe Kits for the Sonex, Waiex and Xenos planes are now on the "approved" kit list for two major aircraft finance companies: AirFleet Capital and NAFCO.

Sonex says both companies are willing to handle "approved" experimental aircraft kits, and are financing at competitive interest rates with reasonable terms.
