Heli-Expo 2006: Enstrom Doubles Deliveries From '03

Plans to Increase Again in 2006

Enstrom Helicopter Corp. closed its books on 2005 by achieving its goal of significant production growth from 23 helicopters in 2004 to 29 helicopters last year.

“2005 was another big step forward for our company,” said Jerry Mullins, President and CEO.

“While maintaining our focus on improving the quality of our helicopters we were able increase our production over 25%.”

Enstrom has been on a growth spurt in the last few years, nearly doubling its production in three years. That progress won’t stop in 2006 with a forecast of 32 helicopters in the plan.

Founded in 1959, Enstrom Helicopter Corporation manufactures a complete line of helicopters including the three-place, piston-powered F28F and 280FX, and the turbine-powered 480B. The 480B is available as a three-place advanced trainer or as a three- to five-place VIP aircraft. For law enforcement applications, the 480B is known as the Guardian and the F28F is called the Sentinel.
