Blue Mountain Avionics, Velocity, Inc. and
Aerosance have successfully completed the integration of the Blue
Mountain EFIS/One with the Aerosance FADEC installed on
Velocity’s new demonstration aircraft. This aircraft had
previously been installed with the EFIS/One but final operation of
the FADEC connection was just completed.
Scott Baker, Vice President of Velocity, Inc. states,
“With the added support of the FADEC interface, the value
proposition of the EFIS/One became more significant as installation
is now even simpler. Just connect a single cable between the
EFIS/One and Aerosance FADEC and you’re done with engine
instrumentation. The EFIS/One setup software allows you to pick and
choose what data is displayed and how it is displayed. It
couldn’t get easier than that.”
This
recent enhancement to the EFIS/One will be available, without
charge, to all customers who have purchased our Annual Support and
Data Subscription service. “We are excited to complete the
Aerosance FADEC integration, which is the first of several planned.
The entire EFIS/One system can now be installed in a matter of
hours, not days.” says Malcolm Thomson, General Manager at
Blue Mountain Avionics.
“Most of our current support calls are from builders who
are trying to hook up probes and sensors to our system. With the
FADEC interface, one simple cable is all it takes. BMA continues to
provide enhancements and upgrades to our products making the
EFIS/One the most complete and versatile EFIS system on the market.
Blue Mountain Avionics has set the bar when it comes to features,
quality and price.” Blue Mountain Avionics designs and
manufactures affordable solid-state, glass cockpit instrumentation
for experimental aircraft.
