"While ADS-B holds tremendous promise, the current proposal represents a compromise that could be improved upon."

Trescott encourages pilots and others in the general aviation community to weigh in while they still can on the FAA's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcasting, or ADS-B. Final comments on the proposal are due March 3, 2008.
