Dallas Airmotive Adds PW500 Service To Millville RTC

Fly-In Facility Offers Hot Section Repair

Dallas Airmotive tells ANN it has expanded the services of its Millville, NJ Regional Turbine Center (RTC) with the addition of repair, hot section inspection and field service on Pratt & Whitney Canada PW500 engines. The PW500 powers a number of Cessna Citations, including the Bravo, Encore, Encore+, Excel, XLS and XLS+.

"Millville is the third of our RTC locations to offer PW500 service," stated Dallas Airmotive President and CEO, Hugh E. McElroy. "We added this service to our Dallas Love Field RTC in 2005, and in May this year we opened PW500 services at our Portsmouth, England RTC. We think East Coast operators will welcome a nearby resource for their PW500 needs. As this market continues to grow, we anticipate expanding this service to even more RTC sites. Combined with our full overhaul capability in Dallas, TX we offer PW500 operators complete service and a choice of locations."

PW500 services at the Millville RTC include hot section service and repair, gearbox repairs and modifications, and borescope inspection.

The Millville RTC is located on Millville Municipal Airport (MIV) in Southern New Jersey and is adjacent to the Dallas Airmotive hangar -- making it a convenient fly-in facility where components or engines can be removed.

"The Millville RTC has a long history of working on PT6A, JT15D and Honeywell APU products, and is well regarded for quality work," commented McElroy. "PW500 operators can be assured of the same high quality service on their engines. Our technicians are trained to manufacturer standards and use OEM-approved tooling and replacement parts."
