ForeFlight Mobile has rolled out yet another update to its popular flight planning app, and already is looking ahead to 2015.

The software developer says that ForeFlight Mobile 6.4, which is now available for download on the App Store, includes better performance planning for more accurate fuel burn and time enroute estimate; Sync, with  more flexibility to move between iPhone and iPad during planning; a firmware upgrade making Stratus 2 the only ADS-B receiver with flight data recording capability; and WACsfor more chart coverage in the Caribbean and Bahamas

Looking ahead to 2015, aviation weather expert Scott Dennstaedt recently joined the ForeFlight team and will help the company build more amazing weather capabilities for ForeFlight pilots. Scott’s vision for ForeFlight Mobile includes giving you more actionable, relevant, and automatic weather intelligence that make traditional text weather briefings a thing of the past, as well as enhancing situational awareness with respect to inflight weather.
