Piaggio America, announced Monday it is adding three North American authorized service centers to support the company's Italian manufactured P. 180 Avanti II aircraft.

With eleven North American service centers already in place, Piaggio America continues to strengthen its network through a partnership with Crownair Aviation, providing services in San Diego and Carlsbad, CA, in addition to Constant Aviation with a center in Birmingham, AL. To deliver convenience and superior customer service to a growing number of Avanti II owners, Piaggio says it has chosen two of the most respected business aircraft maintenance organizations in the country that understand the importance of aircraft accessibility, predictability and cost.

Piaggio says Crownair Aviation, an aviation fuel sales, maintenance and avionics service company, will provide Avanti II customers with added service and support in the Southern California region with operations at Montgomery Airport (KMYF) in San Diego and McClellan-Palomar Airport (KCRQ) in Carlsbad. Crownair provides a wide range of aircraft services including a dedicated fuel station, at their Montgomery Field location; pilot and passenger amenities; personalized concierge service; hangar space; and two full service maintenance and avionics facilities. Crownair's technicians have more than 500 years of combined aviation experience and have been serving the aviation community since 1951 with integrity and professionalism.

Constant Aviation - a maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility with a center at Birmingham International Airport - lists airframe and engine maintenance, major repairs, avionics installation and repair as its speciaties, and says it provides customers with a one-stop shop option when it comes to maintenance events.

"Both Crownair and Constant Aviation are equipped with highly skilled professionals that add a great deal of value to the P.180 Avanti II support network," says Piaggio America President and CEO, John M. Bingham. "With an authorized Service Center network that has more than doubled in the last twelve months and with further additions to the network due before the year end, we are confident our P. 180 Avanti owners and operators will have the comprehensive factory authorized support they need and now it will be even closer at hand."
